 I would like to thank you for sharing some of your valuable time to explore a part of my works presented in the art over past 16 years.
Almost by accident, a start without ambition, on Friday 6th of May 1990, I began a parallel work on my two paintings: aquarelle AVANTURA (catalogue no: 001) and painting in oil TVRDJAVA (catalogue no: 002) – this all as a result of my family and friends insisting on going further with painting, but also as a result of my inner desire to paint, as well. How and why I really do not know, but by the time these two works were finished, one blank notebook, present by chance, became the catalogue of paintings of I.F.Raić. This is actually the origin of catalogue numbers - and consequence: all my painting so far (222 oil, aquarelle and pencile) in a catalogue, guaranteed unique, along with my certificate. Paintings, mostly in form of hyperrealism, with imperfections of nonprofessional and advantages of my engineering practice. I am studying intensively, following the works of others and presenting at my own exhibitions: until now 33 personal exhibitions and 14 collective in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Germany, Switzerland, USA and Canada.

PONOVO U AMERICI U prelijepi Siatl (Seattle,WA) stigao sam prije 10 dana, no problemi sa priključenjem na internet mog laptopa, uzrok su što se tek sada javljam. Bilo je to deset burnih i radnih, ali i dana velike radosti ponovnog druženja sa našom djecom i unukom Miom. Prema očekivanju, 02.10. sam postavio svoje dvije nove izložbe: 26-tu samostalnu likovnu „Rađeno krvatskom rukom“ ( u skladu sa motom „Croatia Festa 2008“) sa 18 ulja i akvarela, te moju 4-tu samostalnu izložbu umjetničke fotografije bez naslova, sa 9 plus pet fotografija vodopada „Kravica“ i Jadrana. Svečano otvorenje samog Festa, pa time i mojih dvaju izložbi, je večeras, 04.10. u 18, odnosno 6pm. Očekuje se da će manifestaciju otvori guverner države Wašington (Washington). Predviđen je vrlo obiman i atraktivan program sa težištem na dane 4. I 5. 10. U nedelju u 3pm moram „uživo“ raditi akvarele u sali tri puta većeoj od sarajevske „Skenderije“ , a moje izložbe će trajati do 12. oktobra/listopada.Većinu toga možete pratiti na web stranici „Croatia Festa“ (www.croatiafest.org).
