Man dreams, God decides! When I was already sure that there will be no trip this year, at least not from this side of the “water pool” (the Ocean), upon my son Zlatko persuasion I, however, do go to the journey. And what journey: August 13. afternoon I have to be in Bruxelles, where us two shall meet, and then, after 2 days in center of European bureaucracy – we go further. First station is Paris, then Lyon, Marseille, Canes, Nice, Monte Carlo, San Remo, Genoa, Florence, Roma, Naples and Bari, ferry to Dubrovnik. Some swimming, then home.
Fifteen days on wheels of my old, good Renault, which, I hope, will not let us down. So many things to see; for Zlatko most of it is for the first time, and to me – mainly not. But, now I have a bit better camera than it was case at my earlier trips and more serious photographer’s ambitions, which will make this trip interesting for both of us.
Upon return the time will have to be made for, since this time I borrow from period for the exhibition preparations. To make everything in time, I will have to work very hard, and Zlatko will be of great help. All this is possible thanks to better condition of my Taiba, whose treatment – thanks God – goes well. May evil not hear of this!

Half a year is gone, never so few work, traveling … As I have predicted, everything turns around fight for health of my dear wife and there are some encouraging moments in it, which is the most important for me!
Meanwhile, Mr. Hadžismajlović gave up promised cooperation in preparations of my jubilee, 50-th exhibition with some incomprehensive explanation, which is his right, of course. It’s maybe better so; now, everything is up to me and I have full freedom, but also responsibility, to bring everything successfully to an end. The financing problem is much larger than I have expected – from some 40 addresses, to which I have sent request, with complete documentation, I have received only dozen of answers, in which I was kindly informed that there are no means for such purpose (or for me??), with two honorable exceptions, where they offer their premises for the exhibition, free of charge. Unfortunately, concept of my exhibition is also connected to the jagged area in “MAK” Gallery and I have to stay with the beginning idea, which now definitely means 317 photos in 32 separate units, as the fifth independent exhibition of the artistic photography (no title). With back mini painting retrospective of 4 oils at canopy, 6 aquarelles, 3 political comics and 4 computer graphics at front wall of the Gallery, all this together is my 50-th jubilee exhibition “ADVENTURE” and at the same time my definite farewell to Sarajevo exhibitions, once my City too, which is not such any more!
There was nothing of planned vacation in Makarska in June, neither of idea to make new exhibition and show together with “Prijatelji” in Zagreb. There is only short stay in USA this year, making thus my this year exhibition there uncertain.

Due to my dear wife Taiba sirius disease, unfortunately I am behind with presentation of all mine planed activities for 2009 year, and as you can expect all my future plans and activities will depend and respect her disease progress and recovery time. With the hope that everything will go with the best flow, these are my plans for this year:
• Complete my commitment to Clinic „ Rebro“ Zagreb
• Finalization and presentation most of mine photographs from all of mine trips in 2008 year and from most recent one to Dubrovnik, Croatia, in April this year
• This year is special for me and my artistic work. I have been present as artist for 19 years with 49 exhibitions. To celebrate big anniversary, my 50th exhibition, I will organize art photography exhibition under patronage of Mr. Vefik Hadzismajlovic, one of the best names in photo and art critic in Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Together with my very good friends from Vocal ensemble „ Friends“ and with help of Ministry of foreign afairs BiH I am going to work on preparation for my one man exhibition in Cultural Center BiH in Zagreb, Croatia, where „Friends“ singing will be one more time opening act, like one in 2002. Ensemble“Friends” will be on Croatian TV too
• Month Jun is anticipated for vacation in Makarska. After 9.15. 2009. is coming trip to Seattle where I will offer my photography exhibition „ Dubrovnik“ to „ Croatia Fest 2009“ promoters. My three months stay in Seattle will also include cruise to Alaska with my son Zlatko
